I often passed by this restaurant, and I did not pay much attention.
I would say that it wasn't quite appealing from the outside.
I honestly thought that it was another Asian restaurant as it was located amongst them.
One day, my friend brought me there for lunch.
Well, I agree with a statement saying, "Don't judge the book by its cover."
As I stepped inside, the decoration and the ambience were like a real traditional italian restaurant in Italy.
I even noticed that most of the people eating there are Italian families, or even couples.
This mom and pop restaurant is giving me the impression on the taste of home traditional Italian recipe.
Like typical Italian restaurant, they always give Italian bread, with olive oil.
As I touched the bread, I could feel that it was freshly baked from the oven.
The sound of its crisp was heared as I started my first bite and then, I could taste the softness of the inside.
That's how an Italian loaf should taste!
For the entree, I ordered Linguine Calamari, with white wine sauce.
They also serve daily specials.
I think the lunch is totally worth it!
The price range is $9.00 till $20.00.
Of course, they also serve other menu, not only pasta.
On 'feel-like-spring' Sunday afternoon, it was the second time I had a delicious pasta feast at Carlo's Cucina Italiana.
This time, I ordered pasta of the day.
I don't know the exact name, but it was linguine with Haddock fish, clams, mussels, and sun-dried tomatoes sauce.
All I could say it was MAMAMIAAAAAAA.... : )
I would definitely be coming back again!
